Pre-School Teacher
Position Overview:
The teacher is the lead educator in the classroom and is responsible for curriculum planning, record keeping, report writing, and administering screenings and assessments.
- Responsible for planning experiences and activities that are developmentally appropriate, individualized and consistent with designated curriculum.
- Engages in high-quality staff to child interaction and staff to staff interactions.
- Encourages parent participation in all aspects of the program.
- Uses authentic assessment techniques, including anecdotal notes, to plan for individual children.
Qualifications:
- BA in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience working with children from 3 to 5 years of age
Job Type: Pay: $20.50 an hour Expected hours: Monday-Friday (7:30am-3:30pm)
